In exchange for their loyalty and votes, the new immigrants were provided, a chance for jobs, housing, help in naturalization, business licenses, assistance in the courts and a voice in the community.
Jews were encouraged to leave the country, they forced Jews out of schools and professions like medicine and teaching, they banned Jew/Non-Jew relationships, segregation, forced them to wear the Star of David. The Nazis started off small, but eventually took away huge rights for them.
