Think about the difference between literal meanings and figurative meanings. In which description from the third stanza is the m
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

Incomplete question. I assumed information about literal meanings and figurative meanings would make the question clear.

Explanation:

An important difference between literal and figurative meaning is in the way words are understood.

Literal meanings as used in literary works involve understanding words exactly how they are generally understood or denotation. For example, saying 'I need a book' would be understood literally. However, saying 'He is a shining star' would be understood for its Figurative meanings, which means 'he is admirable or successful'.

Why would a defendant ask for a trial to be moved to another location
kozerog [31]

Someone accused of a crime generally has the right to a fair trial by an impartial jury. But a defendant doesn’t have the right to a trial in the county of his choice. Circumstances that make juror impartiality unlikely can, however, arise. In those circumstances, defense attorneys often “move” to have the trial take place somewhere else. (In most states, the prosecution can’t request a change of venue.)

Some state constitutions address the right to a change of venue, but in most states, the issue is left to statutes or court rules. These laws and rules explain how to request a change of venue, and may impose deadlines to file the requisite motion.
