People started to smoke in 1612. The first people to smoke were Native Americans. Tobacco (smoke) was the first crop grown for money in North America. Hoped I helped. :)
In the Cherokee or Worchester they are the same, the Supreme Court ruled that the Cherokee could stay on their land but Andrew Jackson the 7th US president went ahead and removed them anyways
According to Wikipedia South Carolina became the first state to declare its secession from the Union on December 20, 1860, with the Declaration of the Immediate Causes Which Induce and Justify the Secession of South Carolina from the Federal Union and later joined with the other southern states in the Confederacy.
The end of the Ice Age meant that there was going to be much more water than land. That flooded the ways of transport that Early People had, the result was that it as even more difficult finding food and shelter.
