Answer: 400 adult tickets and 300 children's tickets were sold

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x represent the number of adult tickets that were sold.

Let y represent the number of children's tickets tickets that were sold.

700 tickets were sold for the game. It means that

x + y = 700

If adult tickets sold for $2.00 and children's tickets sold for $1.50 and the total amount for which the tickets were sold $1250, iteans that

2x + 1.5y = 1250- - - - - - - - -1

Substituting x = 700 - y into equation 1, it becomes

2(700 - y) + 1.5y = 1250

1400 - 2y + 1.5y = 1250

- 2y + 1.5y = 1250 - 1400

0.5y = 150

y = 150/0.5

y = 300

x = 700 - y = 700 - 300

x = 400

marysya [2.9K]

Answer:

Interes ganado= €59.07

Step-by-step explanation:

Dada la siguiente informacion:

300€ durante 5 años al 0.3% de interés compuesto mensual.

<u>Para calcular el valor final de la inversión y el interés ganado, debemos usar la siguiente formula:</u>

FV= PV*(1 + i)^n

Present Value= 300

i= 0.003

n= 5*12= 60 meses

FV= 300*(1.003^60)

FV= 359.07

Interes ganado= 359.07 - 300

Interes ganado= 59.07

<h2>Here we go ~ </h2>

According to given figure,

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \: \angle ABC + 60° = 180°

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \: \angle ABC = 180 \degree - 60 \degree

[ By linear pair ]

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \: \angle ABC = 120 \degree

now, we can see that :

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \: \angle ABC + \angle BAC = \angle 1

[ By Exterior angle property of Triangle ]

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \: \angle 1  = 20 \degree + 120 \degree

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \: \angle 1  = 140 \degree
