Determine whether abc ----> jgh is a reflection, translation, rotation, or glide reflection.
Usimov [2.4K]
From this picture you can calculate coordinates of triangles' vertices:
A(-9,0),\ B(-6,-4),\ C(-3,0),\ J(8,0),\ G(5,4),\ H(2,0).

Since

\frac{-9+8}{2} = \frac{-6+5}{2}= \frac{-3+2}{2}=- \frac{1}{2} \frac{0+0}{2}= \frac{-4+4}{2} = \frac{0+0}{2} =0

you can conclude that points A, B, C are rotated by 180^0 about the point (-0.5,0) to form points J, G, H, respectively.

Answer: A is correct choice.

Answer:

C. 30

Step-by-step explanation:

-It is a statistical rule of thumb  that the size of a sample must be n\geq 30.

-This size is deemed adequate for the Central Limit Theorem to hold.

-At this size or greater, the shape of the resultant distribution is normal.

#It should however be noted, that for a normal distribution the CLT holds even for smaller sample sizes.

I need help with this problem right away please.
irga5000 [103]

Answer:

y= -1/9(x-1)^2 +2

Step-by-step explanation:

The vertex is at (1,2) and another point is at (-2,1).

We know the vertex form of a parabola is

y= a(x-h)^2 +k  where (h,k) is the vertex

Substituting the vertex in

y= a(x-1)^2 +2

We have another point, (-2,1)

Substitue this in with x=-2 and y =1.  This will let us find a

1 =  a(-2-1)^2 +2

1 = a (-3)^2 +2

1 = a*9 +2

Subtract 2 from each side

1-2 = 9a +2-2

-1 = 9a

Divide by 9

-1/9 = 9a/9

-1/9 =a

Putting this back into the equation

y= -1/9(x-1)^2 +2
