Answer: The author's perspective is different from other versions of the Thanksgiving story. He not only focuses on the happy side where the natives welcomed the Pilgrims but on the war that proceeded it as well.

Explanation: Many authors that tell the story of "The Plymouth Thanksgiving Story” describe how the Native Americans helped the Pilgrims when they arrived at their land, how they taught them to grow food and the beautiful friendship they had. However, Chuck Larsen not only relates the wonderful reasons why we celebrate Thanksgiving today, but also reminisces about the consequences it had when more Pilgrims arrived at their land with other intentions. He states that It's important to remember all of the nuances in the story, so that we can understand it better.

Write an paragraph about on "The Importance of Obeying Law in the Society".
olga nikolaevna [1]

Answer:

Laws protect our general safety, and ensure our rights as citizens against abuses by other people, by organizations, and by the government itself. We have laws to help provide for our general safety. Speed limits and traffic laws exist so that we drive in a safe manner. Your reason to obey the one-way sign is independent of sanctions or legitimacy — it's simply to coordinate with people.” But law also works expressively by signaling information about risk or public attitudes that causes people to update their behavior.  “Either of these could change behavior,” McAdams said. Law can provide justice to the victims and punish those who are responsible for unlawful actions. In courts, a law is used to settle conflicts among the people. The main function of law is to ensure all-round development of people by providing security, peace, and protection.
