Answer:

Public School History Textbook of England and Canada

Explanation:

Secondary sources are simply those sources that take information from a primary source. A history school textbook is a secondary source because it adds up historical information from either primary sources, or even from other secondary sources.

A history school textbook may take information from  other textbooks, from scientific papers, or from primary sources like letters or documents from the era being studied.

Why did Lincoln decide only to send supplies to Fort Sumter, rather than abandoning it or militarily reinforcing it? How did thi
worty [1.4K]

Answer:

Fort Sumter in Charleston, South Carolina was one of the four forts that had not yet been captured by the Confederates, so Lincoln wanted to keep the fort at all costs in order to keep the Union's strenght in the South. He sent unarmed ships to supply the fort with military and food supplies. The Confederate President Jefferson Davis gave command to Southern forces led by General Beauregard to bomb the fort on April 12 to force it to surrender, which happened.

The Northern states all supported Lincoln. He called for the fortresses to be reclaimed and the Union to be preserved. At the same time, 75,000 volunteers were called up for a period of 90 days. In the previous months, several governors had trained their militias. Their troops started to move the next day.

Who were Louis& Marie Antoinette and what actions did they take?
zheka24 [161]

Answer:

Born in Vienna, Austria, in 1755, Marie Antoinette married the future French king Louis XVI when she was just 15 years old. The young couple soon came to symbolize all of the excesses of the reviled French monarchy, and Marie Antoinette herself became the target of a great deal of vicious gossip. After the outbreak of the French Revolution in 1789, the royal family was forced to live under the supervision of revolutionary authorities. In 1793, the king was executed; then, Marie Antoinette was arrested and tried for trumped-up crimes against the French republic. She was convicted and sent to the guillotine on October 16, 1793.
