The three types of programs offered at Community Colleges are associate's degrees, diplomas and certificates. An associate's degree is a common program track that many take and then transfer that over to a 4-year college. Certificates are shorter track programs that give the student a specific certificate in a small field of study. A diploma course is extra classes at a fast pace over their time spent at a Community College.
