Explain why sharecropping created a cycle of debt for farmers?
Cloud [144]
Sharecropping created a cycle of debt mainly because of the greed of the landowners. Many sharecroppers were once slaves and did not have any funds necessary for farming. So they rented the land. From their landowners they were also force to buy seeds and equipment that were overpriced with high interest rates. This kept farmers in a state of debt for many years as they on top of this signed very unfavorable contracts.

What comparable situation caused problems in asia after world war 1?
Deffense [45]
By the end of World War I, many changes took place in both Europe and Asia.

While much of the map of Central and Eastern Europe was redrawn, Asia was also significantly weakened, which eventually lead to the problems experienced in World War II.

Eastern Europe was in Chaos with many new nations being formed, many weak, with several internal factions becoming powerful and challenging the government.

The Central Government in China was also very weak which led to rebels and Mao forces becoming more powerful. On the other hand, a weakened China also became vulnerable to attacks from Japan.
