Two angles are complementary to each other. one angle measures 32°, and the other angle measures (12x − 20)°. determine the
Fed [463]

The value of 'x' for the two given complementary angles is 6.5⁰.

<h3>Explain the term complementary angles?</h3>
  • Complementary angles are those whose combined angle is exactly 90 degrees.
  • 30 degrees with 60 degrees, for instance, are complimentary angles.

To resolve this issue, we must understand complimentary views.

The angle that can create another angle has to have a value of 90⁰ and is known as the complimentary angle. One way to spell it is as

A + B = 90⁰

In which the corresponding angles A and B are.

The parameters are as follows, based on the question above:

A = 32⁰

B = (12x - 20)⁰

We may determine the x value by inserting the provided inputs.

A + B = 90⁰

32⁰ + (12x - 20)⁰ = 90⁰

12x = 90 - 32 + 20

12x = 78

x = 6.5⁰

Thus, the value of 'x' for the two given complementary angles is 6.5⁰.

Cloud [144]

Answer:3(2y-1)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Length is increasing at the rate of \dot{x}=6\ ft/s

Width is decreasing at the rate of \dot{y}=3\ ft/hr

Area is given by

A=xy

So rate of area is

\frac{dA}{dt}=x\frac{dy}{dt}+y\frac{dx}{dt}

\frac{dA}{dt}=x\times (-3)+y\times (6)

\frac{dA}{dt}=6y-3x

\frac{dA}{dt}=3(2y-1)

So, area is changing at the rate of 3(2y-1)

Hey guys so I have 3 subtraction questions about polynomials anyone good with algebra?? Thanks in advance!!
butalik [34]
(9x -4) - (3x + 2)
= 9x - 4 - 3x -2
= 6x - 6

(3x^2 + 8) - (2x^2 + 1)
= 3x^2 + 8 - 2x^2 - 1
= x^2 + 7

(5x^2 + 3x - 4) - (x^2 - 6x)
= 5x^2 + 3x - 4 - x^2 + 6x
= 4x^2 + 9x - 4

Dominik [7]

Answer:

So if we count all of the different squares we get that there are 36 squares aka 6*6. So no we need to get how many of the squares add up to greater than 8. Those would be 10/36. 10 of them are greater than 8. So we simplify and we get 5/18. 5/18 is the answer. Hope this helped
