Please help!! ^^^

question 4 on final written exam for gopo
Hatshy [7]

Answer:

plessy v ferguson was a landmark decision of the u.s supreme court that upheld the constitutionality of racial segregation laws for public facilities as long as the segregated facilitues were equal in quality. creating the "seperate but equal" motto

much like plessy v ferguson, brown v board of education was also used as precedent for segregation in public facilities. the court ruled that American state laws establishing racial segregation in public schools were unconstitutional. our 14th amendment states that all persons born or naturalized in the united states - including former slaves - guarantees all citizens "equal protection of the laws" this gives an important definition of a citizen in the u.s and the cases of plessy v ferguson and brown v board of edu helped to form this amendment
