I hope you get this in time f (6) = 72

Explanation: f(6) = 2/3 • (6)^ + (8•6)

= 2/3 crossed out with 1 times 36 crosses out with 12 plus 48 = 24 + 48 = 72

If half of a box of candy weighs 3/5 of a pound, how much would 4 full boxes weigh?
Reil [10]
So we want to know what a full box is. We have the weight of half a box. So we can use the formula: (2 x 3/5) and you want to know the outcome of four full boxes. So (2x3/5)4
Or: 6/5 x 4

And the answer is 24/5. But if you want to simplify it, it’s 4 4/5

In the table, pattern A uses the rule add five pattern B uses the rule at 10 which statement is true every term in pattern b is
Paul [167]

Every term in pattern B is two times the corresponding term in pattern A

The correct option is (B).

<h3>What is algebra?</h3>

Algebra is a branch of mathematics dealing with symbols and the rules for manipulating those symbols.

Given:

pattern A uses the rule add five pattern

pattern B uses the rule add 10

if we take example

5x2=10 and comparable to pattern A x2 to get the next number.

Hence, every term in pattern B is two times the corresponding term in pattern A.

The length of a rectangle is 5 ft longer than its width.
murzikaleks [220]

Answer:

50 ft²

Step-by-step explanation:

If W is the width and L is the length, then:

L = W + 5

2L + 2W = 30

Solve the system of equations with substitution or elimination.  Using substitution:

2(W + 5) + 2W = 30

2W + 10 + 2W = 30

4W = 20

W = 5

L = 10

The area of the rectangle is:

A = LW

A = 50 ft²

Solve the system of equations. x+2y=6; 3x-14y=8 please help
ira [324]
Let x = 6 = 2y so
3(6 - 2y) + 14y = 8 so
18 - 6y + 14y = 8 so
8y = -10 and
y =  \frac{ - 10}{8} =   - \frac{5}{4}  \\  \\ since \: x = 6 - 2y \\ 6  - 2( \frac{ - 5}{4}) = x  \: so \\ x = 6 +  \frac{10}{4} =  \frac{24}{4} +  \frac{10}{4} =  \frac{34}{4} =  \frac{17}{2}
