She needs 2 different containers, both containing 12 cookies.

she will need 2, because the greatest amount of both cookies should be 12 if both are combined. So, split them into 6 cookies to go in 1 container each. Unless it's 12 oatmeal and 12 chocolate chip, but, it'll still be the same answer
