Well, if each cookie contains 10g of fat, then...

4 cookies = 4*10 = 40g fat

7 cookies = 7*10 = 70g fat

I can only eat 4 to 7 cookies. So that means I had between 40 and 70 grams of fat.

Answer: a. Between 40 and 70 grams.

A.) After 5 days t=5 so:

a(5) = 40 {e}^{ - 0.087(5)}   = 25.89g
b.) Since we want to know how much time 40 grams will decay to 10 grams we will let A(t)=10 so:

10 = 40 {e}^{ - 0.087(t)}  \\  \\  \frac{10}{40}  =  {e}^{ - 0.087(t)}  \\  \\  ln( \frac{1}{4} )  =  - 0.087t \\  \\  \frac{ ln( \frac{1}{4} ) }{ - 0.087}  = t \\  \\ t = 15.93
10 grams will be left after 15.93 days.

The room itself measures 64 feet by 48 feet. The carpet is 9 feet by 13 feet. Find the area of floor outside the carpet
Anna [14]

Answer: 2,955 feet squared.

Step-by-step explanation: The area is the width times the height. The area of the whole room is 64*48=3,072 and when excluding the area of the carpet which is 9*13=117 you get 3,072-117=2,955 feet squared.

A binder of baseball cards hold 625
vampirchik [111]

Given:

Total number of cards in the binder = 625

Each page in the binder holds 9 cards.

To find:

The number of pages in the binder that can be COMPLETELY filled.

Solution:

We know that,

\text{Number of pages filled}=\dfrac{\text{Total cards}}{\text{Cards in each page}}

Putting the given values, we get

\text{Number of pages filled}=\dfrac{625}{9}

\text{Number of pages filled}=69.44...

Approximate the value to the preceding whole number to get the number of pages in the binder that can be COMPLETELY filled.

\text{Number of pages filled}=69

Therefore, 69 pages of binder are completely filled.
