the ORGAN that regulates the circulating levels of amino acids, carbohydrates, and lipids is the LIVER

The LIVER is the largest organ in the human body which serves the following major functions:

 • filtration and storage of blood
 • METABOLISM of CARBOHYDRATES, protein (AMINO ACIDS), fats (LIPIDS), hormones and foreign chemicals,
 • formation of bile,
 • storage of vitamins and iron; and
 • formation of coagulation factors.

In the metabolism of CARBOHYDRATES, the liver helps in regulating the circulating levels through:

 • storage of large amounts of glycogen
 • conversion of galactose and fructose to glucose; and
 • Gluconeogenesis which occurs when glucose concentration falls below normal

In the metabolism of LIPIDS (fat), the liver helps in regulating the circulating levels through:

 • oxidation of fatty acids to supply energy for other body functions; and
 • synthesis of large quantities of cholesterol, phospholipids and most lipoproteins

In metabolism of proteins (AMINO ACIDS),

the liver helps in regulating the circulating levels through:

 • Deamination of amino acids
 • formation of urea for removal of ammonia from the body fluids; and
 • formation of plasm proteins

Therefore, the ORGAN that regulates the circulating levels of amino acids, carbohydrates, and lipids is the LIVER

The origin of cetaceans from land-living mammals is among the most famous of these events. Much earlier, during the Mesozoic Era, many reptile groups also moved from land to wate

How can high and low eq affect your ability to learn?
Norma-Jean [14]
Emotional quotient (EQ) , which is a measure of emotional intelligence (EI) , is the ability to to identify one's own emotions including the ability to differentiate and decipher emotions in people, pictures, voices, and cultural artifacts. The ability to process information of an emotional nature and relate those emotions to a wider cognition ability differ in humans. People with higher eq are more self-aware, this enables them to harness the mood (strength, lerthagy, weakness) during learning. They can tell based on the emotions of respondents whether the atmosphere is conducive for learning or not. A person with a high eq can capitalize fully upon his or her changing moods and others to best fit the task at hand. It enables them to harness emotions to facilitate various cognitive activities, such as thinking and problem solving. Unlike someone with low eq a person with high eq can harness emotions, even negative ones, and manage them to achieve intended goals.
