a ski shop has a markup rate of 50% find the selling price of skis that cost the store owner $300. tell me how you got the answe
rusak2 [61]
If nthe shop has a mark up rate of 50% and they cost 300 to buy you multiply 300 by 50%  convert 50% to decimal
so you do .5*300=150
then you add 150 to 300 which means that the shop sells the skis for 450 dollars.

Jorge has $24 on a gift card. He only uses the gift card to buy $1.75 cups of coffee. What is the total change in the amount in
user100 [1]
Jorge would have $8.25 left. This answer does not include 9 cups + the $1.75 it said he bought in the beginning. I’m pretty sure the 9 is the total amount of cups he bought. If it isn’t then subtract another $1.75 and you should get $6.50
