Answer: B

Step-by-step explanation:

I'm pretty sure its B.

Since all 4 stores have a 5% sales tax already on them, we do:

800 x 5%

800 x 5/100

800 x 0.5 = 40

So now we go to all the stores and see which one is less than $40.

Answer A = 40 - 75 = -35 (Which is a price the store would have to pay but that's not a good option)

Answer B = 4

40 x 10%

40 x 10/100

40 x 0.10 = 4

Answer C = So if the store already pays sales tax which would be the 5% then our answer is $40

Answer D = This would just be $800 since the store says "no tax" and the store pays the 5%.

So, i'm pretty sure the answer is B instead of C. (i say this because a lot of people were saying it was C but C is completely wrong.)

Answer: B is the correct answer

Step-by-step explanation:

If you do the math for each question to get a price a leaves you with 725 and b leaves you with 720 and c leaves you with 760 while d leaves you paying 800 so the lowest amount would be B.
