What is a good way to deal with uncertainty?

Answer: Let Go. The first step to dealing with uncertainty is to accept that we can't control everything. Envision the Best. We often try to spare ourselves disappointment by thinking through how things could go wrong. Reflect. Avoid Avoidance. See the Possibility.

Reflect, Avoid Avoidance and see the possibilities.

Remember that you’ve faced uncertainty before. The fact that you stand here now is proof that you are strong enough to make it through. Take time to think and reflect on what helped you before. Write it down—and then read it when your worrisome thoughts start to take hold.

A little uncertainty can be healthy. When this response makes us too anxious, however, it can have the opposite effect and be paralyzing. If you know that you tend to avoid dealing with the future, remind yourself that although dealing with uncertainty is hard, there are consequences for not facing it head on.

A blank slate ahead means that there’s nothing written on it yet. And while that may appear daunting, think of it this way: You are standing on the threshold of possibility.

What are the words that John Boyne uses to signal this flashback in chapter 11 of the boy in the striped pajamas
Montano1993 [528]

While I have never read the book (because it is historically inaccurate - so don't get too sad, because it never could have happened), there are many words that would signal a flashback.  Flashbacks are a time of reflection, so there are many past tense verbs used.  You may also see things like, "Back in my day...", "As I think back...", "When I was a young boy...", "As I remember...".

What is a rhetorical strategy and a detailed example of one?
yanalaym [24]

Answer: The use of ethos, pathos, and logos are all rhetorical strategies.

Example- The "I Have a Dream" speech by Martin Luther King Jr.

Explanation:

The "I Have a Dream" speech by Martin Luther King Jr. relies on mainly pathos when King describes all of the pain in African Americans when they were being segregated. This relates to the African Americans listening and strikes their hearts with passion. By using pathos, King has gained even more African American followers, and more Caucasian ones too.
