Answer:

y = -2x + 3

Step-by-step explanation:

5 x -2 + 3 = -7

3 x -2 + 3 = -7

9 x -2 + 3 = 1

-3 x -2 + 3 = 9

You just have to test all of the options, everything, out and pick what fits.

Hope that helps!

The answer is the second question: y=-2x+3.

Explanation:

You will have to try to substitute the numbers shown in the table with the 4 equations. And see which equation satisfies all the expressions in the table.

y = -2x + 3

Sub x = 5 and y = -7,
-7 = -2(5) + 3
-7 = -10 + 3
-7 = -7
(x=5 and y=-6 satisfies the equation y=-2x+3)

Sub x=3 and y=-3,
-3 = -2(3) + 3
-3 = -6 + 3
-3 = -3
(x=3 and y=-3 also satisfies the equation y=-2x+3)

Same goes for all the other numbers...

Hope it helps :)

Which function could be represented by the graph on the coordinate plane?
Nat2105 [25]
The answer is the 4th one. The native form of cuadratics is x^2, therefore its transformation is 8 units to the right and six down. -8 inside the parenthesis means it moves to the opposite of the x line, so if the graph was on the left side of y, the 8 would be positive.

The question is in the picture.

<h2><u>Part A:</u></h2>

Let's denote no of seats in first row with r1 , second row with r2.....and so on.

r1=5

Since next row will have 10 additional row each time when we move to next row,

So,

r2=5+10=15

r3=15+10=25

<u>Using the terms r1,r2 and r3 , we can find explicit formula</u>

r1=5=5+0=5+0×10=5+(1-1)×10

r2=15=5+10=5+(2-1)×10

r3=25=5+20=5+(3-1)×10

<u>So for nth row,</u>

rn=5+(n-1)×10

Since 5=r1 and 10=common difference (d)

rn=r1+(n-1)d

Since 'a' is a convention term for 1st term,

<h3><u>⇒</u><u>rn=a+(n-1)d</u></h3>

which is an explicit formula to find no of seats in any given row.

<h2><u>Part B:</u></h2>

Using above explicit formula, we can calculate no of seats in 7th row,

r7=5+(7-1)×10

r7=5+(7-1)×10 =5+6×10

r7=5+(7-1)×10 =5+6×10 =65

which is the no of seats in 7th row.

The picture below shows a pole and its shadow:
scZoUnD [109]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

You need to use Pythagorean's Theorem to find the height of the pole.  Namely,

pole^2+15^2=113^2 and

pole^2=113^2-15^2 and

pole^2=12769-225 and

pole^2=12544 so

pole = 112 cm

Andre has $30, and Erin has $14. Andre is saving $5 per day, and Erin is saving $9 per day. After how many days will Andre and E
artcher [175]
In 4 days, because 5 x 4 = $20
30 + 20 = $50

9 x 4 = $36
36 + 14 = $50

4 was multiplied then added in order to find out Erins, and Andres.

Find f(x) and g(x) so the function can be expressed as y = f(g(x)). y = Two divided by x squared. + 3
kodGreya [7K]
Hello,

g(x)=x²+3
f(x)=2/x
so f(g(x))=f(x²+3)=2/(x²+3)

Explainations:

f(y)=2/y
f(4y)=2/(4y)
f(x²)=2/x²
f(x²+3)=2/(x²+3)
