Democracy in America doesn't work on popular vote, rather, it works on the electoral college. This means that in states, whichever president was voted more would count as 1 vote towards that president. This means that technically, the US only has 52 votes in total. This is definetely not a fair result. We should be able to have popular vote, because, well, it's a democracy! We should be working on the interests of the majority, not the minority. However, because we have many big states, such as California, that are majorly liberal, small states won't have much say in what happens in the USA.
Answer:
No
Explanation:
Because of their past history and current culture involving racial issues, many Americans are not fully comfortable discussing this. Rather than discuss and challenge opposing views, some resort to utilising retaliatory language to undermine the other side's argument without confrontation. There is also a culture of condemning any racial conversation or narrative regardless of what it actually means and of circumventing racial topics in general.
Regardless of their stance, many are not comfortable speaking of or dealing with this subject.
The Protestants made the issue of Religion come to the forefront of Western Europe politics for the time.
Explanation:
Ever since the first protestants came into the scene they were in direct conflict with the Catholics.
This meant that there was a lot of religious persecution int he states that begin to follow either foo the two types of religion that had been available to them at the time.
They had chosen one so they had to automatically detest the other and this was a process that went on for centuries.
In this process some nations like Britain became completely Protestant.
