Answer:

So the formula to solve the area of a circle is A = π r²

so for example if the you have a diameter but no radius and the diameter is 6 you can divide 6 by / to get your r or radius

so now the radius will be 3 bc 6/2 is 3 so you plug that in

A=π 3²

3*3=9

A=π* 9

and 9 times π or 3.14 gives us 28.26 therefore the area of our imaginary circle is 28.26

he following data set shows the number of dogs counted in a local park each Saturday for 4 months. 33, 36, 31, 37, 37, 38, 31, 3
lana66690 [7]

General Idea:

To create a dot plot for a set of data we should list the data from lowest to greatest number. Then create a number line which covers all the numbers given in the data. We need to plot number of circles one above as many times based on the frequency of the data.

Applying the concept:

33, 36, 31, 37, 37, 38, 31, 37, 35, 31, 38, 32, 36, 33, 38

Listing the data in ascending order we get

31, 31, 31, 32, 33, 33, 35, 36, 36, 37, 37, 37, 38, 38, 38

We need to plot <u>three </u>circles above 31, <u>one</u> circle above 32, <u>two</u> circles above 33, <u>one</u> above 35, <u>two </u>above 36, <u>three </u>above 37, and <u>three</u> above 38.

Conclusion:

Out of the four options, the <u>correct option is B </u>because that is the only dot plot representing the given set of data.

To simplify

\sqrt[4]{\dfrac{24x^6y}{128x^4y^5}}

we need to use the fact that

\sqrt[4]{x^4}=|x|

Why the absolute value? It's because (-x)^4=(-1)^4x^4=x^4.

We start by rewriting as

\sqrt[4]{\dfrac{2^23x^6y}{2^6x^4y^5}}

\sqrt[4]{\dfrac{2^23x^4x^2y}{2^42^2x^4y^4y}}

Since x\neq0, we have \dfrac xx=1, and the above reduces to

\sqrt[4]{\dfrac{3x^2y}{2^4y^4y}}

Then we pull out any 4th powers under the radical, and simplify everything we can:

\dfrac1{\sqrt[4]{2^4y^4}}\sqrt[4]{\dfrac{3x^2y}{y}}

\dfrac1{|2y|}\sqrt[4]{3x^2}

where y>0 allows us to write \dfrac yy=1, and this also means that |y|=y. So we end up with

\dfrac{\sqrt[4]{3x^2}}{2y}

making the last option the correct answer.

the human eyeball is a sphere with a surface area of 20 square cm. find the approximate radius of the human eyeball.
guapka [62]

Answer:

1.26 corect answer

Step-by-step explanation:

the surface area of a sphere is 4*pi*r^2

so r is sqrt(20/pi) which is sqrt(1.59) = 1.26
