Explanation:

People often put up barriers, is the right answer.

The poem "Mending Wall" was written by Robert Frost during his stay in England. In this poem, the poet asks "where it is we do not need the wall"? and the response he perceives is that "Great fences make excellent neighbors''. The poet was wondering why people ever build walls or barriers in their lives. Therefore, the most suitable answer will be option C.

What happens when voters are out of state on Election Day?
dolphi86 [110]
D, they must vote using an absentee ballot. A is definitely not correct, because no citizen is denied the right to vote given that they are at the right age. B isn't correct because one will not be punished for not exercising a right. And C isn't correct because votes are counted in the electoral college, and the amount of electors are tied proportionally to the quantity of people in the Senate and in the House. The latter of those two is based on population, so that would be messing with the system. So, D is the only answer, which logical due to it being an "absentee" ballot, or someone who is absent.

What consequence did the Depression have on German politics?
max2010maxim [7]

The German Empire became the Weimar Republic after the disaster of World War One, as Germany embraced democracy. However, economic crisis led to Hitler’s dictatorship, and ultimately to World War Two. In 1929 as the Wall Street Crash led to a worldwide depression. Germany suffered more than any other nation as a result of the recall of US loans, which caused its economy to collapse. Unemployment rocketed, poverty soared and Germans became desperate. This led to a chain of events that ended in the destruction of German democracy:  With the government unable to win a majority in the Reichstag, laws could only be passed by presidential decree. As a result, not enough action was taken to tackle the economic and social consequences of the Depression and Germans increasingly began to look to the political extremes for answers.

garri49 [273]

Sovereignty refers to the right that confers the authority to rule over a certain territory.

The question refers to France, which has sovereignty to rule in their department in South America, know as the French Guiana, which is a region of France and therefore part of the European Union. Since the independence of Belice in 1981, this is the only mainland  American territory which is still part of a European country.
