In this election between Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, Thomas Jefferson won. It was important because it was contrasting two important viewpoints in America, that of the Federalists, who supported a strong central government and large manufacturing sector and  that of the democratic-republicans who wanted an agrarian centered society and not much government influence. This election was important because it was a tipping point for how the country should be governed.

Can someone please explain this to me more in depth
Lemur [1.5K]

Answer:

From what I could gather from this small passage is that we know that slaves were treated horribly. Fredrick Douglass is an example of a free slave that wrote about his experiences. I'm guessing that you need to use his experiences as supporting facts in a small explanation about how the lives of slaves were horrible.

Hope this helps!

Temka [501]

Answer:

B. Arab Spring

Explanation:

The Arab Spring started in 2010 in Tunisia.

From Tunisia, it spread to the rest of the Arab world by 2011.

Most of the protestors were young people who demanded government changes.

In some countries, the Arab Spring was successful. In Tunisia, the former president  resigned after more than two decades in power, and the country became a democracy. The same happened in Algeria.

In other countries, the Arab Spring only led to minor changes (Bahrain, Jordan), in Egypt, the government was overthrown but replaced by a new regime, and in Libya and Syria, the protests escalated and became civil wars.
