Answer: I believe they should not be available for human consumption. I think this because a lot of gmo's have no nutritional value, and sometimes the gmo can be harmful to the environment and humans by causing an allergic reaction .Genetic engineering impacts biodiversity because an animal that has already been existing could be overrun by a new species and can ruin a food chain. This is a negative impact because all animals are important and without one, it can ruin an entire food chain and cause an overpopulation or underpopulation of another species.

cons : could create a less nutritional value and could have unwanted side effects; allergies.

pros : longer shelf life and faster growth, and use of fewer pesticides.
