Pippin went to a game room that charged $4 admission, plus $0.25 per token. The equation which represents his total cost is y =

0.25x + 4.What are the ordered pairs for the equation when you use these x-values: 5, 10, 20?(5, 5), (10, 8), (20, 15)(5, 8), (10, 10), (20, 15)(5, 5.25), (10, 6.50), (20, 9)(5, 5.50), (10, 8.50), (20, 13)

Answer:

(5, 5.25) , (10, 6.50) , (20, 9)

Step-by-step explanation:

As given ,

y = 0.25x + 4

Now,

if x = 5

⇒ y = 0.25(5) + 4

      = 1.25 + 4

     = 5.25

⇒ y = 5.25

∴ the ordered pair be (x, y) = (5, 5.25)

if x = 10

⇒ y = 0.25(10) + 4

      = 2.5 + 4

     = 6.50

⇒ y = 6.50

∴ the ordered pair be (x, y) = (10, 6.50)

if x = 20

⇒ y = 0.25(20) + 4

      = 5 + 4

     = 9

⇒ y = 9

∴ the ordered pair be (x, y) = (20, 9)

A cheetah can run 300 ft in 3 seconds. How fast is this in miles per hour?
Fantom [35]
68.181 mph
300 feet/3 seconds = 100ft/sec
100ft  x 60 sec. =6000ft/min
6,000 x 60= 360,000ft/hour

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

(1)The units for measuring angles are degrees and radians

A circle is 360° which is equal to 2π radians

1°=π/180

To convert angle measurement from degrees to radians multiply the value of degrees by π/180

(11)

To convert angle measurement from radians to degree multiply the value of radian by 180/π

(111)Yes it matters because you will use different formulas to calculate the length of the arc

For example , when the central angle is in radians, the formula to apply is;

⇒     S=rФ -------------where  r is the radius of circle and Ф is angle in radians and S is the arc length.

⇒   When the central angle value is in degrees , the formula to apply is

Arc length =2πr×(Ф/360) where Ф is in degrees , r is radius of circle

2. sin\frac{17\pi }{6} \\

we know π=180°

hence 17/6 π=?---------------cross multiply

\frac{17\pi }{6} *180\\\\\\=17\pi *30\\\\\\=510\pi

Apply trigonometry

Find sine 510°

Sine (510°-360°)= sine 150°

Sine 150° = sine 30° = 1/2-----------------2nd quadrant

This means sine 510° = 1/2
