Answer:

My favorite tv progam is riverdale. From my experience watching the Riverdale I like it because: It has a very future forward and diverse cast and story line. There are several LGBTQ+ characters and relationships and it uses a lot of pop culture and slang from right now. There are powerful girl friendships, girls who are strong and outspoken, solid male friendships and great musical moments too. Also, it has had one of the most iconic love triangle - Archie, Betty and Veronica. The series of sinister events that take place in the show also emphasises the dynamic of the small-town as people come together to grieve and cope. The setting adds unforgettable elements that makes this TV show addictive. The cinematography used in Riverdale does the work of balancing the light and the dark. That I why my favorite tv show is riverdale.

Answer:

Everyday I like to see discovery and animal planet programme. My favorite real hero is Bear Gryll. Personally I would like to thank all the members of discovery and animal planet because without their great contributions we are unable to see the television program from one corner to another corner of the world. We should appreciate them for their courageous adventures. Discovery Channel teaches us how to handle the bad situations in jungle. we can learn how army training happens. Food Factory teaches us how the receipe is made. Animal planet shows the importance of animal world, without them nature will lose her balance. we should not hurt them. They sow us the beauty of nature by clicking the camera. Even it is impossible to go inside the jugle and without a perfect guide we can lose in it. Discovery always presents the informations of unknown world and still now explorers are investigating. For example we are no able to know about the existence primitive world, their culture, their family, their lifestyle and intolerance pain. Nature always takes exams and they have to pass them. They have no idea about modern world, nature nurses them and they grow under it. Moreover scenery of water world is mind blowing. We like to see those videos but never try to understand the man who brings those videos for us. We know little about water world. Both Discovery and Animal Planet not only give us many opportunities but also they inspire youth to elocate themselves to the world of nature. We are the best creation of God so we should take care our natural resources and that is why I like to see Discovery and Animal Planet.

Hope this helps u

What is one effect that an in medias res opening is meant to have on the
reader
krek1111 [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

In medias res, the opening line of the Iliad means in the middle of action. So it starts off chaotic and complex, a war scene on the battlefield. Doesn't really give any info as to why the action is taking place, but the reader is right there in it.

Why did Linda believe that not donating her kidney would be "unbearable"?
Tresset [83]

Answer:

To Linda, it may be unbearable because you don't necessarily need 2 kidneys to live, you only need one. In the world currently, there are people who might need a kidney transplant due to kidney failure, and since Linda may want to help them in need, she says that not donating her kidney would be unbearable.

Please help me choose

Which three excerpts would best be characterized as expository texts?
Naddika [18.5K]

Expository text gets to the point rather quickly. It is intended as education rather than just narrative text. An example of narrative text is the Excerpt by Charles Dickens which is meant to draw a picture of what this woman was like.

So the last one is out.

The first one talks about volcanoes and how they are classified. That's one of your answers if you are trying for brevety and education.

I think the second one would also be a choice. It is trying to show you the nature of anxiety and what causes it. You learn a lot about symptoms from reading it. It's quick and to the point. Expository? Yes.

I don't think four is exactly expository, but I might be wrong. It sounds too argumentative to be completely expository. It wouldn't be my first choice even though I have read Twain a great deal, beginning in my teens. He always has something pointedly funny to say about the human condition. So it's hard for me not to include him in anything. It's not exactly narrative either. The tough ones are three and four.

Three tries to tell you what it would be like to live in another country. I think it likely is the choice you are looking for.
