Answer:

<u>10:30</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

They did dribbling for 10 minutes.

Then they did shooting for an hour. Hour is 60 minutes, so already 60 minutes plus 10 minutes, which is 70 minutes or an hour and 10 minutes.

They then scrimmaged for 50 minutes. Add 50 minutes to the hour and 10 minutes. Which is 2 hours

Since the practice started at 12:40 you have to subtract two hours from that time.

Two hours subtracted from 12:40 is 10:40.

So Elana's practice ended at <u>10:30.</u>

Help me do examples for a function and a non function
bekas [8.4K]

Answer:

{(1,2) (3,4) (5,6)} and {(1,2) (1,4) (5,6)}

Step-by-step explanation:

you really want to think of a function as a vending machine. if you press B12 on a vending machine because thats where the chips are, only the chips should come out. in a function, the input value aka x (B12, what youre putting in) should only have one output value aka y, (the chips)

an example of a function would be {(1,2) (3,4) (5,6)}

an important thing to remember is that one output value can belong to multiple input values. there can be chips (output) in both B12 and C12 (inputs) BUT as i said before, there CANNOT be two outputs for one input. B12 cannot give you both chips and a drink.

using this, another example of a function would be {(1,2) (3,2) (5,2)}

an example of an non function would be {(1,2) (1,4) (5,6)} because x, the input value, has multiple output values which is not possible. the output of 1 can not be 2 and 4 at the same time which we can see in the (x,y) coordinates.

Brad wants to open a new savings account. He finds one that returns 3% on his investment each year.
Damm [24]

Answer:

1.03x

Step-by-step explanation:

1 year b would be the inital investment added with interest

i believe this is the equation

b = x + r(x)= (1 + r)x

and since it says 3% each year we know its 0.03 (r)

and when you solve it out you get that answer

Points S,U, and T are the midpoints of the sides of PQR. Which statements are correct ? 1/2QP=UT 1/2TS=RQ SU=PR SU||RP UT=RP
cricket20 [7]

Answer:

\frac{1}{2} QP = UT

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN : In ΔPQR

              S is the mid point of QP

              U is the mid point of PR

              T is the mid point of  QR

Solution :

i) is true i.e \frac{1}{2} QP = UT

Refer the attached file

By mid segment theorem i.e. In a triangle, the line joining the midpoints of any two sides will be parallel to the third side and that same line joining the midpoints is also half of length of third side .

UT is the line joining the two mid points . So, by theorem given above UT is parallel to PQ and  1/2QP=UT.

So, (i) statement is true i.e. \frac{1}{2} QP = UT
