Based on the population density maps above, what can be inferred about Britain's migration patterns? A. The population of Britai
notka56 [123]

The correct answer is - B. Britain was more densely populated in 1911 than in 1701.

Britain had had a steady rise in its population after the Middle Ages finished, and at the beginning of 18th century its population was significantly larger. Than it was noticed a big increase in the population, and this was mainly due to the industrial revolution. The population of the country was growing rapidly, and very soon it doubled in numbers, so by the year 1911, the British population was much bigger, and the island was much more densely populated.

which strategy would a historian most likely use to determine whether a source is valid? a. confirming that it is not an online
nekit [7.7K]

<u>"confirming that it is not an online source" </u>is wrong. The problem is not the fact the source is online, but if it's credible.

<u>"determining whether or not it is well-known" </u>well-known sources might still be wrong. Being known does not make something true.

<u>"d. determining whether it is a secondary source" </u>again, it has nothing at all to do with the validity of the source.

So the answer is:

b. checking its conclusions against other sources

The best way is to check the source and compare to different ones that talk about the same subject. Comparing different conclusions of different authors and seeing different points of view about the same thing is often the best way.
