Autonomy vs shame and doubt
The autonomy vs shame and doubt age is a phase during the development of children. It occurs between the ages of 18 months and three years old. During this stage, the children start to become more independent and start making some of their own decisions. These decisions include what to wear, what to eat and what to play with. Having overbearing parents hinders the development of this stage of development.
