I just plugged both equations into my calculator and found where they intersect. But you can do the same on paper by manually finding that intersection in the graph which should be (2,4)

10m3 of air weigh 13 kg.
sleet_krkn [62]

The constant of variation is 1.3 kg per m³

Step-by-step explanation:

Direct variation is when one variable is equal to a constant times

another variable, with no additions or subtractions alongside

If y is directly proportional with x, then

  • y ∝ x
  • y = k x, where k is the constant of variation
  • The graph of the variation is a line passes through the origin

∵ The weight of air is directly proportional to its volume

∴ The weight (w) ∝ the volume (v)

∴ w = k v

∵ w = 13 kg

∵ v = 10 m³

- Substitute these values in the rule of variation above to find k

∴ 13 = k (10)

∴ 13 = 10 k

- Divide both sides by 10

∴ k = 1.3

The constant of variation is 1.3 kg per m³

Find the GCF of the terms of the polynomial.
-BARSIC- [3]
<h3>Answer:   2z^3</h3>

====================================================

Explanation:

The GCF of the coefficients {6, -42, 14} is 2 as it is the largest factor found in each of the three values.

----------

For the variable portions, we can

  • write z^5 as z^3*z^2
  • write z^4 as z^3*z^1
  • write z^3 as z^3*1

Each time we see z^3 show up, so this is the largest common factor among the three variable terms.

----------

The two results we got were 2 and z^3

Putting the two results together, we end up with the overall GCF of 2z^3

How would you change 125.25% to decimal form?
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]
Percent means parts out of 100 so
125.25%=125.25/100=12.525/10=1.2525/1=1.2525
basically:
percent to decimal: move decimal place 2 places to the left and get rid of percent                sign
decimal to percent: move decimal place 2 places to the right and add percent sign              at end
fraction to decimal: divide completely
fraction to percent: divide completely then convert to percent

the answer is 1.2525

Answer:

-54\ \frac{ft}{sec}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

To find out the mean change of altitude, divide the total change by the amount of time it takes

so

-\frac{378}{7}=-54\ \frac{ft}{sec} ---> is negative because the airplane is descending
