<h3>Answer = 67</h3>

<h3>Explanation</h3>

#you see the straight line near (2x - 4) ? yeah it totals 180°, so you only need to find the degree of the other side.

#The question already show 90° (L) and 48° so you can get the other side degree by minus 180 with the degree known.

<h3>Way to do</h3>

180° - 48° - 90° = 42°

#and so you only need find the rest of the degree. The degree of (2x + 4)

180° - 42° = 138°

#So the (2x + 4)° is 138°

2x + 4 = 138

2x = 138 - 4

2x = 134

x = 134 : 2

x = 67

<h3><u>Given</u>:-</h3>

  • Volume 6,900 cm^3
  • Length = 23 cm
  • Width = 10cm

<h3><u>To Find</u>:-</h3>

  • Height of box ??

<h3><u>Solution</u>:-</h3>

\\\diamond{\underline{\underline{\sf {\;\; Calculating\; Height\;  of  \; box :-}}}}\\

\\ \pink \star \:  \: {\underline{\boxed {\bf{  Volume_{ \red{ \{Rectangle \}}}  \: = l  \times w  \times  h }}} }\; \red\bigstar  \\

Where,

  • » l denotes Length
  • » w denotes Width
  • » h denotes Height

\\  \sf \implies \: {Volume_{ \red{ \{Rectangle \}}}  \: = l  \times w  \times  h} \\

\\  \sf \implies \: { 6,900 \:   = \: 23 \:    \times  \: 10 \:   \times  h} \\

\\  \sf \implies \: { 6,900 \:   = \:  230 \:   \times \:   h} \\

\\  \sf \implies \: {  \: h  \:   = \:   \frac{6900}{230}  \:  } \\

\\  \sf \implies \: {  \: h  \:   = \:   30 \: {cm }^{3}   \:   } \\

\\ \implies{\underline{\boxed{\frak { Height = 30  \: cm^3 }}}} \; \purple\bigstar \:  \\

\\\qquad \rule{120pt}{3pt}\\

Therefore , the Volume of the Box is 30 cm ³.

Jonathan went to the movies with $48 he earned at his after-school job. The ticket cost $8.75. He spent $7.45 for refreshments.
aleksley [76]

Answer:

8.75+7.45=16.2. 16.2 is equal to $16.20 so 48.00-16.20=31.8. Jonathan had $31.80 left.

Which expression is equivalent to 4(x+2)
Alekssandra [29.7K]

Answer:

4x+8

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given an expression 4(x+2). We are asked to find equivalent expression to our given expression.

Using distributive property a(b+c)=ab+ac, we will get:

4\cdot x+4\cdot2

4x+8

Therefore, the expression 4x+8 is equivalent to our given expression.
