Ronin and Tom spend a certain amount of money from their money box each month to buy plants. The table shows the relationship be

tween the amount of money (y) remaining in Ronin's money box and the number of months (x): Number of Months (x) Amount Remaining (dollars) (y) 1 70 2 67 3 64 4 61 The equation shows the relationship between the amount of money, y, remaining in Tom's money box and the number of months, x: Function 2: y = −4x + 70 Which statement explains which function shows a greater rate of change? (5 points) a Function 2 shows a greater rate of change, because Tom spends $70 each month and Ronin spends $9 each month. b Function 2 shows a greater rate of change, because Tom spends $66 each month and Ronin spends $9 each month. c Function 2 shows a greater rate of change, because Tom spends $4 each month and Ronin spends $3 each month. d Function 1 shows a greater rate of change, because Ronin spends $3 each month and Tom spends −$4 each month.

Andre and Elena are each saving money. Andre starts with $100 in his savings
zysi [14]
Andre’s equation is y = 5x + 100 and Elena’s is y = 20x + 10
Andre - 5x + 100 the x is how many weeks (6) so it’ll be 5(6) + 100 which is 30 + 100 = $130 in 6 weeks
Elena - 20x + 10 same thing x is how many weeks (6) as well so 20(6) + 10 which is 120 + 10 = $130 as well in 6 weeks so therefore, the answer is C.

Two cyclists leave a city at the same time, one going east and the other going west. The westbound cyclist bikes at 3 mph faster
NikAS [45]
We will say that the eastbound cyclist is going x mph. This means that the westbound cyclist is going x+3 mph.
They are both cycling for 6 hours and end up 162 miles apart.
Distance=rate*time
6x+6(x+3)=162
6x+6x+18+162
12x=144
x=12
So, the eastbound cyclist is going 12 mph.
Remember the westbound cyclist is going 3 mph faster, so s/he is going 15 mph.
Hope this helps!!

PLEASEE HELPP MEE IN MATHH!!!! NUMBERS 6 AND 7!!!!
Tomtit [17]

Answer:

6.)  angle 1 = 61 degrees.  angle 2 = 61 degrees. . 7.) angle 1 = 44 degrees

angle 2 = 44 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

main reason is that because of  Alternate Interior angles theorem  angle 1 = angle 2

for both questions 6 and 7.

Also  the angles that form a straight line sum to 180 degrees

so 61 + 58 + 61 = 180

and for 7

90 = 46 + 44
