Answer: 1440
Explanation: when you split it into two shapes (I split it where the split is splitting the eight up) you find the volume of them both. Top shape= 4x4x10=80 bottom shape= 8x8x10=640.
640+80= 720
You will then need to multiply by two (or add 720+720) to get the answer 1440

Xander spends most of his time with his 10 closest friends. he has known 4 of his 10 friends since kindergarten. if he is going
Mademuasel [1]

Probability that the first 2 of the friends to show up to the movie are friends he has known since kindergarten but the third not is 1/10

Total friends = 10

Friends from kindergarten = 4

Probability is the chance that a given event will occur. Probability of an event lies within 0 to 1

P(E) = Favourable outcomes / Total outcomes

Probability of getting 1st friend from kindergarten = 4/10

Probability of getting 2nd friend from kindergarten = 3/9

Probability of getting 3rd friend not from kindergarten = 6/8

Since all these probabilities are independent, We can use Multiplicative identity. Thus,

Required probability is 4/10 * 3/9 * 6/8

= 1/10

Thus, Probability that the first 2 of the friends to show up to the movie are friends he has known since kindergarten but the third not is 1/10

The product of two consecutive odd integers is 72. Write a quadratic equation to find the integers,
zimovet [89]

Answer:

x^2 + x - 72 = 0

Explanation:

We are given product of two consecutive odd integers is equal to 72.

Let one integer be x , then since these are consecutive and odd so the other integer will be equal to x + 1.

Their product is equal to 72. So,

x * (x + 1) = 72

=> x^2 + x = 72

=> x^2 + x - 72 = 0 is the required quadratic equation.

What is a name for a marked angle ? Answers to choose from :
katen-ka-za [31]

Answer:

Angles are named in two ways. You can name a specific angle by using the vertex point, and a point on each of the angle's rays. The name of the angle is simply the three letters representing those points, with the vertex point listed in the middle. You can also name angles by looking at their size.
