Why do you think people are so interested in forensic science? People are interested in it because it is everywhere. And the CSI shows really hype the job up

How are fingerprints analyzed? First, the fingerprint collected at the crime scene is searched ±or unique characterisTcs like ridges, loops, and whirls. ²hose prints are then compared to a known print. And once the examiner believes there is enough points o± similarity he declares it a match.

How does real fingerprint analysis differ from the fingerprint analysis shown on television programs such as CSI? Machines do not make the match people do.

Yes I didn’t think so much human judgment went into it I thought it was like we got your fingerprint and beep boo boop beep we put it into the computer it finds a match and there is no room ±or error it is 100 percent
