Some techniques to learn it better could be a book or websites that walk you through the language. You should continue to learn as there is no reason to give up, so don't be discouraged. Learning a language can never be easy, but when you finally learn and master the language that difficulty you went through to learn the new language can become your new pride as you have succeeded.
