1. using 2 dots that are on the blue line (0,72) and (6,69)
find the slope:

slope = change in Y over change in x = 69 - 72 / 6-0 = -3 / 6 = -1/2
 equation would be y = -1/2x + 72

2. y = -1/2x+72 = -1/2(30) +72 = -15 +72 = 57 beats per minute

3. replaced x in the equation with 30 to find the beats per minute for exercising 30 minutes

What additional information can be used to prove ΔDSB ≅ ΔTSR by SAS?
Elden [556K]

Please find the attached file for a proper understanding of the question given here. The diagram in the file attached is the complete accompanying diagram of the question.

As per that diagram, RS\cong SB (which is given)

and we know that \angle DSB\cong \angle RST (vertically opposite angles).

Thus, the only way ΔDSB ≅ ΔTSR by SAS is when DS\cong ST as indicated in the diagram.

Thus, DS\cong ST is the correct answer.

How can we use ratios and proportional relationships to help us in our daily lives?
ehidna [41]

Answer:

In cooking (recipes).

Step-by-step explanation:

If the serving size for a recipe is not adequate for the number of people you are serving, you will have to convert the amounts(measurements) of the ingredients to suit your needs. You will do this by first creating a ratio defining the relationship between the serving size of the given recipe to the number of people needed to be served. For example, if a recipe serves 4 people, and you need to serve 8, your ratio would simplify to 1/2. This means you must proportionally relate this ratio to the individual amounts of each ingredient.
