Answer:

52 = 8n + 4

4(2n + 1) = 52

4 = 52 – 8n

n = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

52 = 8n + 4

52 - 4 = 8n

48 = 8n

n = 48/8

n = 6

4(2n + 1) = 52

8n + 4 = 52

8n = 52 - 4

8n = 48

n = 48/8

n = 6

4 = 52 – 8n

4 - 52 = -8n

-48 = -8n

n = -48/-8

n = 6

4n = 48

n = 48/4

n =12

n = 6

52 = 8n + 4 is equivalent to 4(2n + 1) = 52 is equivalent to 4 = 52 – 8n is equivalent to n = 6

Harlamova29_29 [7]
I am assuming there are more than one juice box in a package so if the amount of juice boxes in each package is X and there are four packages 4X.
So 4X - 2= Answer

If we make it so that there are 6 juice boxes in each package and use the same method this is what we'll get:
24 - 2= 22

22 would be the juice boxes left over.

I hope this answers your question, if it doesn't use the same method with the number of juice boxes in a package.

HACTEHA [7]

Answer:

Valid

Step-by-step explanation:The term "valid" generally refers to a property of particular statements and deductive arguments. This term is used to describe an argument or proof that is logically correct. That is, its conclusion stems from its assumptions or premises.

A valid argument is one that the conclusion necessarily follows from the premises. That is, if the premises are true, the conclusion will also be true.

Suppose you are presented with two true premises. If you accept that both are true, then you will have to accept that the conclusion is also true, because there is no possibility that the conclusion is false in this case.

Write the explicit formula that represents the geometric sequence -2, 8, -32, 128
Jet001 [13]

The Geometric Sequence Formula:

a_n=a_1r^{n-1}

We have:

a_1=-2,\ a_2=8,\ a_3=-32,\ a_4=128,\ ...

d=\dfrac{a_{n+1}}{a_n}\to d=\dfrac{8}{-2}=-4

Substitute:

a_n=-22\cdot(-4)^{n-1}=-22\cdot(-4)^n\cdot(-4)^{-1}=-22\cdot(-4)^n\cdot\left(-\dfrac{1}{4}\right)=5.5(-4)^n
