Answer:

sum of angles in a triangle is 180

so 70+60+ 8x+2 = 180

132+ 8x = 180

8x = 180-132

x = 48/8

x= 6

then find the angle by substituting value of x

8x + 2

8*6 + 2

= 50°

The interior ages of a triangle have measure
Nina [5.8K]

Answer:

See below in bold.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. The 3 angles in a triangle add up to 180 degrees.

So x = 180 - (55 + 25)

= 180 - 80

= 100 degrees.

2.  The 4 angles in a quadrilateral add up to 360 degrees,, so

3x + 127 + 54 + 119 = 360

3x + 300 = 360

3x = 360 - 300

3x = 60

x = 20 degrees.

3. Exterior angle

= 94 + 42

= 136 degrees.

A ball is thrown into the air with an upward velocity of 36 ft/s. Its height h in feet after t seconds is given by the function
Roman55 [17]

We can do this by converting the equation to vertex form:-

h = -16t^2 + 36t + 10

= -16(t^2 - 2.25t) + 10

= -16 [ (t  - 1.125)^2 - (1.125)^2] + 10

= -16(t - 1.125)^2 + 20.25 + 10

= -16(t - 1.125)^2 + 30.25

So the answer is 1.13s and 30.25 ft.

=  (

Molly, Landy and Jasmine are hairdressers. Molly and Landy have 678 hairpins altogether. Landy and Jasmine have 984 hairpins alt
meriva

Answer:

219 hairpins.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let, Jasmine has x hairpins.

Number of hairpins of Molly = x \times \frac{3}{5}  = \frac{3x}{5}

As question said, Molly and Landy have 678 hairpins together.

We have calculated that Molly have \frac{3x}{5} hairpins.

So, the number of hairpins of Landy = 678 - \frac{3x}{5}

Now,

Landy and Jasmine have 984 hairpins together, so we can write from the above as,

x+ (678-\frac{3x}{5} ) = 984

x - \frac{3x}{5} = 984 - 678

\frac{2x}{5} = 306

2x = 1530

x = 765

It means, Jasmine has 765 hairpins.

Since Jasmine and Landy have 984 hairpins together.

So,

Number of hairpins of Landy = 984 - 765 = 219

So, Landy has 219 hairpins.

A science class has a total of 44 students. The number of females is 16 less than the number of males. How many males and how ma
kogti [31]

Answer:

Number of males: 30

Number of females: 14

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the number of males

Males: x

Females: x - 16

x + x - 16 = 44

2x = 44 + 16

2x = 60

x = 30

Males: 30

Females 30 - 16 = 14
