You work for a company that makes tiles for patios. A customer sent you the following picture of his patio. He said the patio is

made up of the same tiles, positioned vertically and horizontally. He says he wants to replace 3 tiles that are cracked. He didn’t tell you the dimensions of the tile itself but did tell you that the width of the patio was 8 feet. Determine the dimensions of a tile in the patio.

Answer:3 by 1

Step-by-step explanation:

okay so I'll say the long side of a tile as x

the short side of a tile as y

look at the short side of the big patio first, it's made up of 2 big and 2 small

so 2x+2y=8 or x+y=8 so two added together is 8. So one possibility is 3 and 1 because (3+1)2 = 9

A total of 326 adult and student tickets were sold for a high school play. The ticket prices were $8 for adults and $5 for stude
Trava [24]

Answer:

212 tickets were sold

Step-by-step explanation:

a (adult) + s (student) = 326

8a + 5s = 1972

-5(a + s = 326)

-5a-5s=1630

3a/3 = 342/3

a = 114

114 + s = 326

s = 212

son4ous [18]
Because a square has 4 sides, you would multiply the 8 meters by 4. That would mean that the entire room is 32 squared meters. Then multiply the 32 meters by the cost ($35.00). The total cost of the new carpet is $1,120

Not too sure but I think you’ll have to find out the amount of boys in the class then add that number to the amount of girls to get the answer.
