Answer:

$122.9

Step-by-step explanation:

Given data

total number of people= sarah+ 9 of her friends= 10 people

Items bought

popcorn= $6.25*10= 62.5

soda=  $2.29*10= 22.9

Twizzlers=$3.75*10=37.5

Total =  62.5+ 22.9+37.5= $122.9

Hence the total spent = $122.9

You would just add all of those amount together and multiply it by 10. 6.25+2.29+3.75= 12.29 times 10 is 122.90.

Evaluate the definite integral. <br> 1 x4(1 + 2x5)5 dx.
Nata [24]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the definite integral \int\limits {\dfrac{x^4}{(1-2x^5)^5} } \, dx, we to evaluate it. Using integration by substitution method.

Let u = 1-2x⁵ ...1

du/dx = -10x⁴

dx = du/-10x⁴.... 2

Substitute equation 1 and 2 into the integral function and evaluate the resulting integral as shown;

= \int\limits {\dfrac{x^4}{u^5} } \, \dfrac{du}{-10x^4}

= \dfrac{-1}{10} \int\limits {\dfrac{du}{u^5} }  \\\\= \dfrac{-1}{10} \int\limits {{u^{-5}du }  \\= \dfrac{-1}{10} [{\frac{u^{-5+1}}{-5+1}]  \\\\= \dfrac{-1}{10} ({\frac{u^{-4}}{-4})\\\\

= \dfrac{u^{-4}}{40} \\\\\\= \dfrac{1}{40u^4} +C

substitute u = 1-2x⁵ into the result

= \dfrac{1}{40(1-2x^5)^4} +C

Hence\int\limits {\dfrac{x^4}{(1-2x^5)^5} } \, dx = \dfrac{1}{40(1-2x^5)^4} +C

Chloe drew a triangle with side lengths of 30 centimeters, 24 centimeters, and 18 centimeters. Juan drew a triangle with side le
vlada-n [284]

Answer:

A and B

Step-by-step explanation:

Each side in Chloe's triangle is 1.5 times the length of each side in Juan's triangle.  Thus, they are 'similar' by the <u>math </u>definition of that word, by the SSS Rule for Similar Triangles.

That means they are different only in size. So, their angle measures are the same and they are the same shape.

A and B are true.

C is never true, because the sum of all 3 angles in a triangle is always 180°.

D is not true, because they are similar.
