What does make dem cheeks clap mean?
rjkz [21]

This is probably a joke but I'll answer anyway

By 'cheeks' they mean buttocks so by "making them clap" is referring to them being so big/thick that they clap or make noise when you walk or move around or something.

I probably got played lol but whatever

Korolek [52]

The correct compositional techniques romantic operas are:

Chromaticism in harmony and melodies becomes increasingly important.

Instead of clearly separated recitatives and arias, the focus is placed on the continuity of the music.

The Romantic era, roughly from 1815 to 1910, saw an increase in the emotional and subjective nature of orchestral music as composers turned to it as a means of self-expression. Harmony got more complex while tone colour grew richer. Wider ranges were available for dynamics, pitch, and tempo, and rubato usage gained popularity.

The orchestra also got bigger. Similar to the Classical era, the piano continued to be the primary musical instrument in the early Romantic era. The piano underwent numerous improvements, though, and composers elevated the instrument's creative potential.
