She changes by beginning beginning Mary’s mother never paid attention to her she was always off and she was always with men but your answer should be Mary thinks that mothers ignore their children until she meets Miss Sowerby if you wanna know why then her mother always ignored her that means she never really had a mother in her life to begin with so she thought this is how parents are supposed to act but when Miss Sowerby came in that all changed for her.
