Answer:

146°

Step-by-step explanation:

By the property of intersecting tangent and secant outside of a circle.

(5x )\degree = \frac{1}{2} [(25x + 21) \degree - 96 \degree] \\ \\ (5x )\degree \times 2= (25x + 21 - 96) \degree \\ \\ (10x )\degree = (25x + 21 - 96) \degree \\ \\ 10x = 25x - 75 \\ \\ 75 = 25x - 10x \\ \\ 75 = 15x \\ \\ x = \frac{75}{15} \\ \\ x = 5 \\ \\ m (\widehat{DB}) = (25x + 21) \degree \\ \\ m(\widehat{DB} )= (25 \times 5 + 21) \degree \\ \\ m(\widehat{DB} )= (125 + 21) \degree \\ \\ \huge \purple{ \boxed{m( \widehat{DB} )= 146 \degree}} \\ \\

Answer:

DEH and HEJ are complementary angles for example.

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to provide any 2 angles that sum to 90deg. We can clearly see that DEH and HEJ are complementary, we can see the same for JEK and KEF.

I don't believe there's more.

What is the current value of a zero-coupon bond that pays a face value of $1,000 at maturity in 6 years if the appropriate disco
Zolol [24]

Answer:4

Step-by-step explanation:

A zero-coupon bond  doesn’t make any payments. Instead, investors purchase the zero-coupon bond for less than its face value, and when the bond matures, they receive the face value.

To figure the price you should pay for a zero-coupon bond, you'll follow these steps:

Divide your required rate of return by 100 to convert it to a decimal.

Add 1 to the required rate of return as a decimal.

Raise the result to the power of the number of years until the bond matures.

Divide the face value of the bond to calculate the price to pay for the zero-coupon bond to achieve your desired rate of return.

First, divide 4 percent by 100 to get 0.04. Second, add 1 to 0.04 to get 1.04. Third, raise 1.04 to the sixth power to get 1.2653. Lastly, divide the face value of $1,000 by 1.2653 to find that the price to pay for the zero-coupon bond is $790,32.

I got 3.825

your equation would be
(2x-1)(x+7)=72

when you distribute youd get
2x^2 +13x -7 =72

move the 72 over giving you
2x^2 +13x -79=0

i used the quadratic formula and the answer would be 3.825 because a negative answer wouldn’t make sense in this situation

Total no.of possible outcomes = 200 × 4 = 800

No.of favourable outcomes = 200 × 1 = 200

P (E) = no.of favourable outcomes / total no.of possible outcomes
