Answer:

1 ft 9 in

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the length of the flag, we simply need to add the fractions. Because all the lengths have the same denominator, we only need to add the numerators.

5 + 3 + 6 = 14. The flag is 14/8 feet long.

To simplify this, divide 14 ÷ 8 = 1.75

This means the flag is 1 foot and 9 inches.

Im not sure how to solve this please help
Effectus [21]
Look at the corresponding angle to 82, which is to the left of line b

It also measures 82 according to "corresponding angle theorem"

Then
angle x is equal to it as they are vertical pair of angle

so that, the measure of x equals 82 degree

I hope that helps

The endpoints of CD are C(–8, 4) and D(6, –6). What are the coordinates of point P on CD such that P is the length of the line s
GalinKa [24]
If you graph the end points C and D then graph the 4 points at the end it is difficult to tell which points are on CD without a line.
Using the endpoints find the slope (change in y/ change in x) then substitute a point in to find the intercept.
Slope = (-6-4)/(6- -8) = -5/7
Intercept equation (-6) = -5/7 (6) + b
b = -1.71428571429
Graphing the line shows only 2 points on the line (–2.75, 0.25) and <span>(0.75, –2.25)
I am confused by the part, "</span><span>P is the length of the line segment from D".  Were you given a length P to help you determine which point.  Using the distance formula to find the length from each point to D doesn't help determine which one is best with the information you have given.  The image shows the distances I calculated and the graphed points.
I hope this helps!</span>

What is an estimation strategy<br> This is for 6th grade math please help
Lunna [17]

Answer:

Estimation is a mental process of coming up with an answer that is relatively  close, to allow decisions to be made. The types of estimation are quantity, computation and measurement.

An estimation strategy is simply coming up with a good estimate based on evidence and already known facts. Coming to a conclusion as close to the real answer as you can. It can also be called an educated guess.
