Answer: The Free Exercise Clause accompanies the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. Free exercise is the liberty of persons to reach, hold, practice and change beliefs freely according to the dictates of conscience. The Free Exercise Clause prohibits government interference with religious belief and, within limits, religious practice. To accept any creed or the practice of any form of worship can't be compelled by laws, because, as stated by the Supreme Court in Braunfeld v. Brown, the freedom to hold religious beliefs and opinions is absolute. Federal or state legislation can't therefore make it a crime to hold any religious belief or opinion due to the Free Exercise Clause. Legislation by the United States or any constituent state of the United States which forces anyone to embrace any religious belief or to say or believe anything in conflict with his religious tenets is also barred by the Free Exercise Clause.

Differential justice
r-ruslan [8.4K]

Our legal system aims to embody the three ideals of access, fairness, and equality.

Which is the definition of justice?

Fairness and justice are often used interchangeably. Almost everyone cares about justice, despite the fact that it has different meanings for different groups. For contrast, gender equality holds that everyone should have equal access to financial, legal, and chances to meet regardless of their race, gender, or religion.

Is Justice still operating?

Parents of young girls now have a new back-to-school choice from Walmart: the Justice label is back. As part of Super Retail Group's bankruptcy, the Justice brand, which targets girls aged 6 to 12, closed its outlets. Walmart will offer more than 130 Justice goods in 2,400 retail stores and online

What contribution did Thomas Hobbs make to the enlightenment
RSB [31]
He wrote the book Leviathan which established the idea of the social contract. the social contract states that individuals give up some rights in order to be protected by the government. This form of thinking is very popular in western politics and can be shown through the collection of taxes. This is also very common in American government as seen by the fact that in the Declaration of independence the founding fathers said 'governments are instituted among men deriving their just powers from the governed' which means that any power the government has was consented to, in part, by those who are governed.
