B. an important victory for the abolition movement

The Amistad was a Spanish ship on 1839 that kidnapped people from Africa to be sold into slavery in Cuba. While en route, some slaves escaped, and killed most of the crew. The ship ended up in America in New York.

Spain and Cuba wanted the people returned to Cuba to be enslaved. The US Supreme Court found that since they were illegally enslaved, they were free, and should be returned to Africa.

Levart [38]

Answer:

Having more power than others

Explanation:

Moral inequality - Also referred to as political inequality, is based upon artificial foundations. It is formed not by Natural circumstances but by a convention or agreement among consenting men.

The societal differences in power, wealth, status or class are moral inequalities; they entail a single person benefiting at the detriment of another. Whilst a lot of authors have confused the term with the natural state of affairs, it should be noted that this type of inequality is a recent creation.
