¿Qué importancia tiene el agua en las reacciones químicas?
vladimir1956 [14]

Answer:

What would happen if Jupiter's gravitational pull increased
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

The amount of mass that planet Jupiter has in the solar system makes it approximately five times larger than all other planets in it. As Jupiter’s gravity pulled on another planet tightly, its diameter grew and it expanded. The density and gravity continued to increase, resulting in even more planet compression.

Explain how the lethal allele is still showing up in the population
timofeeve [1]
Lethal alleles (also referred to as lethal genes or lethal) are alleles that cause the death of the organism that carry them. They are usually a result of mutations in genes that are essential to growth or development. Lethal alleles may be recessive, dominant, or conditional depending on the gene or genes involved. Lethal alleles can cause death of an organism prenatally or any time after birth, though they commonly manifest early in develop

The spontaneous action potential established in cardiac contractile cells is highly dependent on which of the following? A. The
Arada [10]

Answer:

E. All of the above

Explanation:

In cardiac contractile cells there is rapid depolarization, then a plateau phase and repolarization.

when an action potential stimulates the cell, voltage-gated channels open quickly commencing the positive-feedback mechanism of depolarization. This in turn raises the membrane potential to approximately +30 mV, and this closes the sodium channels. Next comes the plateau phase, where membrane potential declines relatively slowly due to the opening of the slow Ca2+ channels, allowing Ca2+ to enter the cell while few K+ channels are open, leading to K+ to exit. Once the membrane potential reaches approximately zero, the Ca2+ channels close and K+ channels open, allowing the exit of K+. The repolarization lasts approximately for a while and here is when the membrane potential drops until it reaches resting levels once more and repeats the cycle.
