PLEASE ANSWER ASAP CORRECT ANSWER GETS BRAINLIST
geniusboy [140]

I guess the number 2 is to indicate the question...

Then the equation would be 1/3 - 1/2x = -2/3

1/3 - 1/2x - 1/3 = -2/3 - 1/3

-1/2x = -3/3

-1/2x = -1

-1/2x *2 = - 1*2

-x = -2

-x * -1 = -2 * -1

x = 2

Good luck

A company purchased a machine for $970,000. the machine has a useful life of 12 years and a residual value of $4,500. it is esti
harina [27]
Cost less salvage value = 970,000 - 4500 = 965,500
Capacity of machine = 1,000,000 units.
units consumed at the end of second year = 200,000 + 300,000 = 500,000 units.
Capacity remaining = 1,000,000 - 500,000 = 500,000 units
Book value at end of second year = (500,000/1,000,000)*965,500 + 4500
= $487,250

John is making baked goods for a party. He can either make muffins or bread, and he can use blueberries, bananas, apples, or cho
Margarita [4]

The total number of possible choices that John had for making baked goods for the party is 8.

What is Combination?

The combination helps us to know the number of ways an object can be arranged without a particular manner. A combination is denoted by 'C'.

^nC_r = \dfrac{n!}{r!(n-r)!}

where,

n is the number of choices available,

r is the choices to be made.

We know that the number of choices with John for his baked goods is only two which are muffins or bread, therefore, the choices of the baked good can be written as ^2C_1.

Also, the number of choices with John for flavors is four which are blueberries, bananas, apples, or chocolate chips, therefore, the choices of the flavor can be written as ^4C_1.

Now, the total possible choices that John had

= The choices of the baked good x The choices of the flavor

=\ ^2C_1 \times ^4C_1\\\\=\ 8

Hence, the total number of possible choices that John had for making baked goods for the party is 8.
