Hmm i’ve been here before , cahokia is known for its mounds . they served as bases for ceremonial buildings or homes of the elite. mounds were used for burials of important people and victims of sacrificial rituals .

So therefore it’s sayin that since they left and when the civil war ended and all that and when slavery was abolished the South was their home now, and so that’s why today African Americans live mostly in the South.
