Boone helped in making the Wilderness Road from Virginia to Kentucky and later established the Boonesboro settlement. Boone's life was representative of the Frontiersman. He was a true exprorer, who loved the wilderness, did not fear the Indians. The Frontier was a place with no people, unexplored and tempting. He always loved coming back to Kentucky, but his character needed to go further and find a land that could not be taken away.
