Boone helped in making the Wilderness Road from Virginia to Kentucky and later established the Boonesboro settlement. Boone's life was representative of the Frontiersman. He was a true exprorer, who loved the wilderness, did not fear the Indians. The Frontier was a place with no people, unexplored and tempting. He always loved coming back to Kentucky, but his character needed to go further and find a land that could not be taken away.

iren2701 [21]
The Iraq War did not end quickly because the U.S. Government specifically the State and Defense Departments did not have a clear exit strategy. Following civil unrest in Iraq as well as increasing attacks on U.S. soldiers and the newly formed Iraqi Government the U.S. Government was unable to withdraw quickly and suffered large casualties and expended hundreds of billions of dollars in resources.
